Jamez Bongg
JamezBongg is a DJ/Selector from Sofia City - Bulgaria. Influenced by the UK Underground Culture and Sounds in the late 90's, he quickly discovered the turntable record player and started exploring it. The years has passed, and his sets has gradually mutated from Uk hip hop/ reggae / funk / dub to the newest modernistic - Dubstep/Grime/Bassline/UK Garage/DNB with loads of scratches. He took part in verious number of events, not only in Sofia and Bulgaria, but also in cities like: London, Bristol, Prague, Belgrade, Athens, Thessaloniki etc. His selection of music always guarantees a variety of styles and moods mixed up together and when this is combined with the propper type of audience and a high level sound, the people are being literally blown away by the low frequencies that this type of music has to offer. Some of the names that Jamez has been on stage with are: Rodney P & Skitz, The Herbaliser, МRК1, DJ Vadim, Foreign Beggars, Stereo MC's, Amon Tobin, Propellerhead DJ's, Fun Lovin Criminals, De Phazz etc. Bongg is a part of the promoter team - mirizma.org which main objective is to popularize the Dubstep/Grime movement in Bulgaria and region.
For the first time in September ON! Fest
ON! Youth Fest is a festival that includes thematically divided into modules covering all youth interests. Within three days (16-18 September 2011), over an area of 7000 square meters at the Inter Expo Center, will be combined graffiti, contemporary music, dance competitions, skateboarding, Japanese culture, beatbox, presenting the latest IT technology and computer gaming tournaments, demonstrations, workshops, seminars, music and dance competitions, lectures and discussions on topics that concern young people. ON! Fest 2011 includes modules Stage ON!, Party ON!, Street ON!, Dance ON!, Technology ON! and Aniventure ON!
